A cadeia musical iniciada pelo Byrds resultou no fortalecimento do folk e country rock nos Estados Unidos, a partir do meio dos anos 60. Nesta edição e na próxima, Memória do Rock vai trazer a história do grupo, além das bandas e artistas que emergiram a partir do legado do Byrds, incluindo o também lendário Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
