The Noble Hall

The Noble Hall is a small space destined to informally welcome international authorities who visit Brasília. Through it, it is possible to have access from the Black Hall to the Ulysses Guimarães Plenary Chamber (House Floor).

The Noble Hall is situated to the right of those who enter the Black Hall; this space, divided into two areas, is used for the exchange of gifts between authorities, for official photo sessions, book signing events,  and other activities of short duration.

The space is decorated with "Barcelona" chairs, designed and first promoted by German architect Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe in 1929, in the German pavilion of the International Exhibit of Barcelona, Spain.

Besides other works of art the hall also has furniture designed by the architect Oscar Niemeyer.
