The Governing Board of the Chamber of Deputies is responsible for the direction of the legislative works of the House.
It is composed of a President, two Vice-Presidents and four Secretaries.
The effective members of the Board may not participate in any partisan leadership nor may they be part of any Permanent, Special or Investigation Committee (article 14 of the Rules of the House).
